John Lomas
Following the purchase of Barry Walker’s spares business in 2016, John and his business partner achieved their aim of adding a second marque to their business. John’s love of cars came from his father, Alan, who purchased his first vintage car in 1955. John grew up in the passenger seat of his Dad’s car and also in a variety of other vintage and classic cars so his passion has been over 40 years in the making.
His first experience in an MG was when his father purchased a 3 year old MG B GT V8, this was re-united with the family in 2006 and takes pride of place alongside John’s newly acquired 1933 F Type.
John’s enthusiasm for the marque and the preservation of our motoring heritage is combined with a strong business sense and the drive to ensure that The MG Automobile Company’s customers enjoy the highest levels of customer service and motoring expertise for the next forty years.
Peter Johnston
Peter has over 30 years of stores and warehouse management experience, including engineering and vehicle building. He has previously held positions which have brought him into contact with public and trade customers. For the last 6 years, Peter has traded in Automobilia at many vintage events around the country and has come to love talking to like minded vintage enthusiasts and owners.
