The MG Automobile Company and our sister company, Blue Diamond Riley Services Limited are proud to be members of The International Guild of Specialist Engineers. The Guild represents and supports the specialist engineers, businesses, and service providers in the motorised historic and classic transport industry. More specifically, the Guild encourages the interests of those individuals and companies who, with their specialist expertise, keep many rare and priceless vehicles on road and track — giving pleasure not only to their owners but also to the public.
The idea of setting up The Guild dawned on the founder, Michael Scott, back in 1998. After lots of time, effort and help from many colleagues and fellow enthusiasts, it officially launched in 2013. Over the years, The International Guild of Specialist Engineers has expanded into various projects, events, networking and reciprocal visits, all the while welcoming many new members and appreciating very active Preferred and Commercial Partners. Lastly, the Guild has created a fully-operational Apprenticeship Scheme.
